A Warm Up Coming! But Wait! There's More!

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Before all you winter haters get too excited about the warmer temperatures and even rain headed our way, there is more winter right behind it!  Colder air will follow the brief respite from winter's grip.

Pacific air flow is forecast to overspread Western New York as the week advances.  The air will feel downright balmy in the 40's and there's even up to a half inch of rain in the forecast.  With those warmer temps and rain, there is the potential of some flooding.  Those areas prone to snowmelt and springtime flooding may be impacted the most.  You can read the complete flood watch from The National Weather Service here.

But don't put away the winter gear just yet!  Another arctic blast is expected to follow the milder break and the arctice express is to return next week.  Here is a long range look from the folks at Accuweather.com.
