Ashley Hassett joined the WBEN news team in December 2011. 

She was born and raised in Buffalo and currently living in Cheektowaga. Ashley has spent the past four years contributing to local television news stations and working the past year as a producer/reporter at WBFO-FM.
 
Hassett is a graduate of Medaille College and a Maryvale High School Alumnae.
 
When she’s not covering the news she’s spending time with her loved ones and her three rescued cats (Oliver, Lola and Ferris).
