Bitter Cold Today as Snow Total Reaches 100 Inches

Today 's cold is just the latest...

The National Weather Service has placed all of WNY-- and most of the state- under a WIND CHILL ADVISORY beginning Thursday at Noon and until 10 am Friday. A Wind Chill WARNING is posted for southern Erie and southern tier.

Expect Wind Chill values as low  as 30 degrees below Zero
  In  an unusually snowy winter...

Buffalo's snow totals have hit the 100 inch milestone this year for the first time in several.

As of 5 am, the total  winter seasonal snowfall for 2013-14 hovered just below the mark -- 99.8 inches--  and National Weather Service Meterologist Dave Thomas says we will cross the mark today.   The last time Buffalo saw this much snowfall was 2010.
