Lewiston, NY - (WBEN) A missing person call last night has led to the discovery of a body in the Town of Lewiston. According to Niagara County Sheriffs, a possible lost person call in the Meyers Lake area was received just before 8:00 p.m. At that time sheriffs and the Lewiston Police were advised that the lost person was not familiar with the area and possibly intoxicated. A multi-agency search was enacted and two-hours later a black male was discovered in Meyers Lake. The investigation is ongoing and cause of death is pending. Authorities are also withholding the name of the individual pending notification of family.
