According to Business First, the dual Waterfront Village Center buildings on Lakefront Boulevard have been purchased by D&S Capital Real Estate LLC of Amherst. The purchase price was $7.2 million.
LPCiminelli and McGuire Development Company have been selected to develop high-tech innovation and manufacturing facilities in Western New York. Although no projects have yet been determined, the collaboration agreement is for five years with the project administrator, the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering in Albany.
Home Furniture Gallery is closing its store in Tonawanda after losing its lease. That site at 2880 Sheridan Drive at Eggert is holding a closing sale. Home Furniture Gallery is also offering special discounts at its store on Union Road in Cheektowaga; that store will remain open.
