Southwest Airlines will begin service from Greater Rochester International Airport April 14th. The specific flights are for service to the cities of Chicago, Orlando and Tampa. The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle notes that's a day after AirTran ends similar flights; Southwest is in the process of combining with AirTran.
Avalon Document Services and Delaware Copy and Repro Center have merged. Those companies will be based at Avalon's facility at 721 Main Street in Buffalo. The two form the largest reprographics company in the city.
According to Business First, former Congresswoman Kathy Hochul has landed a job with M&T Bank. She will work in government relations.
The Mercy Hospital Foundation received a $375,000 grant from the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation. The funds will complete a $500,000 renovation of the surgical waiting room at Mercy Hospital.
