Ellicottville's HoliMont Ski Resort is resorting to a unique auction to fund new development along its western ridge.  Up for bids at 3pm on February 23rd will be thirty-one lots.  Participants are asked to bring a certified $20,000 check.
 
The colder weather has made it possible for the region's grape growers to harvest fruit for ice wines.  The fruit is left on the vine until the temperature dips below eighteen degrees for at least four hours.

The U.S. Postal Service is looking to fill 300 positions for carrier assistants. January 27th is the application deadline. 

Vineeta International Foods holds its grand opening tomorrow at 11am at 98 Grant Street in Buffalo.

First Niagara Financial Group reported net income per share of fifteen cents for its fourth quarter.  That's down four cents from the same period last year.
