Rochester's Pike Company has been named the new general contractor to finish work at Canalside. Work at the site is expected to begin again next week, with a completion date of late spring or early summer next year.
Business First reports a local developer is seeking help from the ECIDA to secure an incentive package for renovating adjoining properties at 916 and 918 Main Street in Buffalo. The three-story parcels at the western end of the Buffalo Medical Campus would be converted into one and two bedroom apartments, with some retail space on the ground floor.
The Sabres will have new menu items all over the arena this season. Among those coming to the concession stands are fried pickles, a grilled steak burger called the Sabre Sandwich, a 16-ounce steak burger called The Big Puck, shrimp tacos, and a seasoned and grilled chicken breast sandwich with sauteed onions and peppers, topped with a white cheddar sauce.
The New York Builders Association has designated The Gardens at Oxbow in Lewiston the Project of the Year.
