The Erie County Industrial Development Agency approved incentive packages for a pair of projects.  One will help Harper International move from Lancaster to Depew; that will result in sixteen new workers.  The other incentive package will facilitate the move of Catholic Health's headquarters to downtown Buffalo.

For $2 million, Niagara Blower has purchased some property on Sawyer Avenue in Tonawanda.  The site will become the company's new world headquarters.    

Delaware North's Sportservice is hiring part-time concessions workers for Bandits and Sabres games at the arena.  The general number to call for those interested is 855-4142.

M&T Bank has provided a $15,000 grant to Corpus Christi Church to use for repair of its north tower and drainage system replacement.

North Tonawanda's Taylor Devices reported a second quarter profit of $769,000; that's up 86% from last year for the same period.
