Savarino Companies has presented a revised plan for its redevelopment of the Erie Freight House warehouse on the Buffalo River. Business First reports the $18 million project now will be constructed 25 feet back from the water's edge. The revised plan requires approval from the Buffalo Planning Board and Buffalo Preservation Board.
The Ontario government has revealed that Fort Erie Racetrack will be allocated $5.5 million in transitional funding. That amount is to cover expected losses from having slot machines pulled from the facility.
This Friday, sales will begin on-line and at AT&T stores for the Blackberry Q10 Smartphone. Consumer trade-ins of $100 will be available for a limited time under certain conditions.
