Business First notes that Brock Schechter & Polakoff LLP has acquired a pair of smaller firms. Buffalo's Gould & Swanson PC and John P. Whitty CPA PC in Clarence have been folded into its practice. Terms of the deals were not publicly disclosed.
Modern Enterprise Solutions of Tampa, Florida has opened a Buffalo location. MES resells new and refurbished data networking and telecom hardware.
A renovation for Gowanda Urgent Care & Medical Center has led to expanded services and programs. The center, part of the TLC Health Network, is adding physical therapy, ultrasound and digital mammography, as well as digital X-ray and blood draw. The $2 million project included expanding the site from 3,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet.
