Somewhat reflecting the national trend downward for gas prices, the AAA reports that Western New York's gas prices have declined two cents from a week ago to an average of $3.96.

A vacant parcel on Maple Road in Amherst near Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital is being eyed for a senior housing complex.  Business First reports MEL Investors LLC has proposed an $8.875 million three-story building.  The next step is a public hearing before the Amherst Industrial Development Agency March 22nd.

The Buffalo Bisons have partnered with Creating New Taxpayers.  CNT employs individuals with physical and visual disabilities; they in turn will help the baseball team with season ticket package sales.

Steel galvanizing company Galvstar LLC is featured in the latest business attraction video from Buffalo Niagara Enterprise.

Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards has received a New York State Agricultural Society Business of the Year award for 2013.
