It was a pretty big day for the ECIDA Wednesday. The group approved incentives for a half-dozen regional projects. Business First reports those projects represent more than $44.1 million in private-sector investment. They will create 67 new jobs and retain more than 13-hundred jobs.
JEC Capital Partners and Ratio Capital Management have bought up 10% of Synacor Inc.’s stock. That boosted the Buffalo-based tech company's stock by eighteen cents to $2.33.
The Buffalo Planning Board has approved an environmental review for the H.H. Richardson Towers on Elmwood Avenue. It's the first step in a process that will eventually transform the building into a boutique hotel. The hope is to open the hotel by June 2016.
Two job fairs today - a "Hiring Our Heroes" event runs 10am-1pm at the Connecticut Street Armory. Seneca Gaming hosts a career fair from 10am-6pm at 1 Fulton Street in Buffalo.
