Dozens of angry parents, supported by he District Parents Coordinating Council and its leader, Sam Radford, staged a sit-in at the Buffalo Board of Education's city hall office on Wednesday. The parent group, said radaford, says it's concerned that more than 2-thousand Buffalo public school students would be kept on low performing schools with no transfer plan.
Late Wednesday night, school officials agreed to meet with the parent group next Wednesday (April 30th) at 3 PM.

In another school board development last night, board members voted to merge the former Pinnacle Charter School with the Harvey Austin School. Plans are to develop a new curriculum for the newly merged schools and to open the school during the 2015-2016 school year
