Jamestown (WBEN/AP) -- Jamestown police say a 5-year-old girl has died after sledding down a hill and into a roadway, where she was struck by a car.
Police say the victim is Isabella Stanford of Jamestown.
The accident happened early Friday evening on Foote Avenue just south of the Arterial. The girl was sliding down a nearby hillside, and skidded into the roadway where she was struck.
She was taken to WCA Hospital, where she later died.
Police say no criminal charges are expected against the driver.
