Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has an idea about why people don't like her.
In a recent BBC interview, someone asked her about being named the “Most Hated Celebrity” back in 2013. She replied with, “First of all I was like, ‘I’m the most hated celebrity?’ More than, like, Chris Brown? What did I do? There is the perception that I grew up very wealthy but my father said, ‘You are completely on your own. So he never gave me anything. I never had any supplementation, he never helped me with my rent, I never had a trust fund. So the idea that I am spoiled or that I didn’t work for what I have, that’s just not accurate.”
Just to make sure you think 'she's just like me,' she also added, “People tend to think that I eat just seaweed and a bit of air. I have never had a horrible experience with French fries. French fries are my life!”

The Miss Teen USA Pageant announced they're getting rid of the swimsuit portion of the competition. They are replacing it with athletic wear.
Katherine Haik, the reigning Miss Teen USA, says, “I have been an athlete my entire life. As a member of a softball team and a competitive dance team, I spend a lot of time in athletic wear. This new direction for Miss Teen USA is a great way to celebrate the active lives that so many young women lead and set a strong example for our peers.”
Actor Kit Harington had a pretty interesting evening the night before auditioning to play Jon Snow on Game Of Thrones. He was on a date and had taken the girl to McDonalds.
The restaurant was so busy they had to share a table with another couple. The other guy started insulting his date so he stood up to the guy, but ended up getting punched in the face. He auditioned the next day looking pretty beat up.
“I think that man who punched me in the face may have helped me get the job, so if you’re watching, thank you,” Kit told MTV. He tells the whole story:
Actor Dennis Quaid's wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, filed for dissolution of marriage on Tuesday. She filed for divorce twice in 2012.
Back in 2012, her first divorce documents revealed, "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities...that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation." They reconciled but now...not so much. The couple made news a few years ago when their twins were given an almost fatal does of Heparin in the hospital after birth (Don't worry, they are now active 8 year olds).
Dennis Quaid has been married three times, most notably to actress Meg Ryan. The actress later told InStyle, "It was a great story. But what wasn't in the story was the reality of my marriage for nine years. Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that once I was divorced."
Actress Leah Remini is putting together a new show for TV, and it's all about how the Church of Scientology rips apart families.
Leah says she's been in the church since age 9 but left in 2013.
“As time goes on, you start to lose touch with the real world. The mindset becomes ‘us against them,’” Remini revealed in an ABC 20/20 special. “The decision to leave is you are giving up everything you have ever known and everything you have worked for your whole life.”
No word yet on when (or if) the new show will air.
