Strickler & County Roads, after an accident there killed 4 teens

Clarence Crash Could Possibly Yield Court Actions

The families of Amanda Slisz, Megan Schnorr and Mark Brown could take legal action against driver Viktor Shapiro, who was behind the wheel when all four of them died in a crash this past week.

Police say the four teens were killed when Shapiro sped through a stop sign and hit a van at the corner of Strickler and County Roads Saturday

Former Erie County District Attorney Frank Clark says legal action is a possibility, depending on the coverage of Shapiro or his parent's insurance.

Clark adds that the accident speaks to the need for stronger traffic laws, in light of the fact that Shapiro, only 18 at the time of his death,  had accumulated a speeding conviction and two license suspensions
