Does Playing Bills Equal 2nd Bye for Patriots?

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Providence sports writer says the New England Patriots have themselves a second bye week Sunday against the Bills. A local sports writer says he's not sure he'd write off the Bills Sunday, but understands when you look at the numbers.

"The Patriots are 11-0 against the Bills in Foxboro over the last 11 games," says AP writer John Wawrow. "Tom Brady is 19-2 against the Bills. The Patriots have outscored the Bills in those 11 games by a 2 to 1 margin."

Wawrow adds the Patriots have done well after their bye week. "The Patriots are a good team, they're getting healthier too, considering they've had two weeks to heal up," notes Wawrow.

Wawrow says the Bills won't need to see Jim Donaldson's column to get pumped up for this game. "They're reminded by the media every time they play the Patriots. They also can look back a few weeks ago when they blew a second half lead. If that doesn't get them ready, something's wrong," says Wawrow.
