NHL's Minnesota Wild Changing Goal Song To Prince's 'Let's Go Crazy'

Minnesota Wild right wing David Jone
The Minnesota Wild started using Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" during the playoffs earlier this year shortly after Prince's death. Now they're making it their official goal song that gets played after every score. Prince is of course from Minneapolis so it's no surprise the fans wanted it. The previous goal song was "Crowd Chant" by Joe Satriani.

See The Look-A-Like Kim Kardashian Used To Fool Paparazzi

Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian wanted a break from the paparazzi while on vacation in Mexico, so she used a look-a-like. Pretty funny Kim, and nice job, but that leaves me wondering what you were actually up to?

Ciara & Russell Wilson Canceled Original Wedding Plans Over This

Russell Wilson & Ciara

They say you vote with your wallet and Ciara and Russell Wilson recently did just that with their elaborate wedding.

The couple's wedding planner, Mindy Weiss, recently told The Knot that the wedding faced a number of delays, the first of which was brought on by North Carolina's controversial "bathroom law," which is widely seen as discriminatory to transgender citizens.

Mindy says, "They were first getting married in North Carolina, but they called it off due to the transgender bathroom laws, the wedding was done."

Before deciding on Liverpool, England, Weiss said the couple had considered Paris to hold their ceremony.

The wedding is estimated to have cost millions of dollars. (Ciara's diamond is worth around $2 million.)

Experts Tell You How To Be An Expert In Anything

Beyonce
This is the best scientific study you'll read all day because it tells you to take a nap!

New research shows in high complexity jobs, like professional and sales roles, the top 10% produce 80% more than average, and 700% more than the bottom 10%.

The experts tell TIME that there are a few steps to becoming an expert in _______.

1. Answer the question: How long am I going to be doing this? Result: Committing in advance to being in it for the long haul made all the difference.

2. Find a mentor. Justin Timberlake has Pharrell, Rita Ora has Beyonce, and I'm sure that guy spinning that sandwich sign has one too, ask him.

3. Figure out the most important thing you need to learn in your craft. You don't need to learn everything.

4. Train like you fight. Meaning always practice like its the real thing.

5. Get feedback, even if it's bad.

6. Naps! Mom was right, if you don't get enough sleep you are not learning as well as you could be.

Demi Lovato Accused Of Stealing A Song

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato is the latest celebrity accused of stealing a song. The group Sleigh Bells first accused Lovato more than nine months ago of jacking parts of "Infinity Guitars" in her song "Stars."

Sleigh Bells has now filed a federal complaint naming Lovato along with two producers and the owner of her record label, and it specifically calls out the production of the song noting that parts of the two are "virtually identical."

"A comparison of the two songs reveals that, at the very least, the combination of the hand claps and bass drum, structured as 3 quarter beats and a rest, with the bass drum providing a counter-rhythm to the hand claps, is at least substantially similar in both works," says the complaint.

But I ask you, all music inspires people and if you really get down to it, aren't all songs rip offs? Haven't all of the note combinations been used in previous works?

Is it the same? Listen to the beginning...

Ryan Lochte's Sponsors Are Dropping Like Speedos

Ryan Lochte
You have to wonder what was going through Ryan Lochte's head when he decided to lie about what happened in Rio. He wasn't being talked about much before the incident (headlines were being filled by Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky).

Today Lochte's sponsors started dropping including Speedo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gentle Hair Removal, and Airweave (mattress company).

The skeptic in me still thinks this might have all been calculated. How long would Speedo have paid him when he's not an Olympic swimmer anymore? Perhaps this is all a ploy to get another reality show or gain appearances on Dancing With The Stars?

Disco Shoes At The Olympics? Shut Up And Take My Money!

Olympics
The Rio Olympics were dominated by many teams, but Great Britian scored GOLD in the fashion games.

They caused quiet a stir with their disco shoes at the Rio closing ceremonies - yes, plain red shoes that lit up red, white, and blue on the bottom. Come on - these are amazing...
Simon Jersey created the shoes and said, "Rio is known for its love of parties and carnivals, and wearable tech is becoming more popular, so we thought the most fun and patriotic way to use this in the outfits is through lights. The athletes all loved the shoes and are looking forward to wearing them. We just hope they remember to charge them before the ceremony."

Backstreet Boys Creator Dies In Prison

BSB
The man who brought back the boy band - 'N Sync, the Backstreet Boys, and O-Town - died Friday in prison. According to reports, Lou Pearlman was serving a 25-year sentence for his role in a $300 million Ponzi scheme when he died of unknown causes at age 62.

Pearlman was fascinated with the success of New Kids on The Block and began an obsession with perfecting the boy-band business model. There were unsavory rumors of molestation in Vanity Fair back in 2007 but they were never substantiated. Since then, several former boy-band members have claimed that Pearlman "made passes at them" during their careers.

The members of Backstreet Boys were the first to file a lawsuit against Pearlman, feeling that their contract — under which Pearlman collected as both manager and producer and 6th member — was unfair. Brian Littrell was the one who hired a lawyer to determine why the group had received only $300,000 for all of their work, while Pearlman and his record company had made millions.

At one point, Pearlman's net worth was estimated to be close to $300 million dollars before filing for bankruptcy and going to jail in 2008. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison on charges of conspiracy, money laundering, and making false statements during a bankruptcy proceeding.
