Buffalo, NY (WBEN Newsroom)  -- New Era Cap Company will close an Alabama manufacturing plant and may close a second plant as well. The only two remaining New Era manufacturing sites are another one in Alabama and one here in Derby, New York. Lower demand for its product has led to the closing.
 
Mighty Taco is branching out. Pending Buffalo Planning Board approval, Mighty Taco will open a store within the NOCO convenience store at McKinley Parkway and Bailey Avenue in South Buffalo.
 
The Rotary Club of Buffalo recently gave a grant of $100,000 to Gerard Place, a transitional housing and supportive services program.
 
Edible Arrangements has opened a second store in the French-Transit Plaza in Depew. The original store is still operating in Williamsville.
