Lower Ticket Prices for 2012 Bills-In-Toronto Game

(WBEN)  After four years of sometimes timid response from the ticket-paying public, Rogers Media  has announced a price-cut on tickets to it's annual Buffalo Bills in Toronto Game, reducing them 35 percent, on average.

" The new fan-friendly pricing structure gives us a better opportunity to have our most passionate fans from the region support the Bills in Toronto." said Bills VP Mary Owen, in a prepared statement.

The new ticket prices-- outlined below --  range now from $8 to $225 , with decreases that run from a 4 percent  to a 51 percent discount over last year's cost.

The series, now in it's fifth year, commences with a game against the Seattle Seahawks Dec. 16 in the Rogers Centre. The team is in a fifth and  final year of a deal that sends one regular and one pre-season game per year to Toronto, and are negotiating to continue the arrangement. This year's pre-season game was removed because the Rogers Centre was unavailable.

In each of the prior years, the team has had to lower prices, with attendance for the regular season game hovering at approx. 50,000.

Ticket holders who purchased at the higher prices can either receive a refund or be upgraded to more expensive seats.

Corner seats in the 200 level have been discounted the most, (51 percent), while cheaper 500 level "value"  seats will see the smallest price change, a decrease of 4 percent.
