Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - It was another tumultuous Buffalo School Board meeting Wednesday morning, with Bennett High School the point of focus.
While a new plan for Bennett was presented, Interim Superintendent Don Ogilvie recommended that the district take more time to look at multiple plans. A move that was criticized by the minority members of the Board, who accused Ogilvie of setting an agenda behind their backs.
The meeting got loud at times with many of the people in the crowd speaking out, sometimes over board members.
In the end, the board voted to not make a decision on Wednesday, and accept more proposals regarding what to do with Bennett (you can view the accepted resolution HERE). The board will gather those proposals in the first half of this school year.
The Board also discussed Martin Luther King Multicultural School #39. The Board has until December 31 to come up with a timeline to see what they will do with the school.
