Does Hollywood think we are stupid? Wait, don't answer that.
CBS's new Star Trek Discovery premiere has been delayed again, this time because of The Walking Dead.
Follow me on this...
Entertainment Weekly is reporting the delay on the show, which starts production next week, is all about potential viewer confusion. The Walking Dead is running its season through April, and CBS doesn't want people to confuse lead actor Sonequa Martin-Green's character in Star Trek Discovery with her role as Sasha on the zombie show.
Really? One is zombies the other is space - we got it.
Guys, when you don't have a firm premiere date, it makes us think the show is TERRIBLE.
Twilight star Kristen Stewart co-authored a research paper, published for Cornell Univerity. The paper looks at the use of artificial intelligence technology called "neural style transfer" to re-create several scenes from her new short film, Come Swim, in the style of the impressionistic painting that inspired it -- which was also created by Stewart.

There was quite the backlash after naming her self the hardest working 23-year-old on the planet. Is she working hard? Of course! I've been around enough celebrities to know that even though they travel in limos and planes, they are still working hard. Often they sleep on buses. Other times they go to bed at 2am, then wake up at 4am to do morning interviews. Often they don't really get days off. All that being said, I'm sure she is FAR from the hardest working 23-year-old on earth.
PS - Ariana, if you are that tired, you can always quit and never have to work again.
There's been lots of controversy over who is performing at Donald Trump's inauguration. For some it's the opportunity of a lifetime, while others consider it career suicide. For some its a chance to be part of history, while others say it conflicts with their personal feelings.
But what about Kanye West, who is a huge star and seems to be tighter with Trump than most artists? Check out this report from Billboard:
Have you suddenly noticed tons of anime-like photos in your social media feeds? The culprit is the Meitu app.
It's several years old, but has exploded in popularity here in the United States in the last few days. In the Apple App Store it was the 27th most popular free app as of Thursday afternoon. That may seem low until you realize it was 973rd overall on Saturday.
Officially it is a "one touch photoshop for enhancing your beauty and putting the finishing touches on your photos." But it also allows you to turn your photos into artwork. A couple examples are below and many more can be found by searching #meitu.
The movie "A Dog's Purpose" was recently filming a scene where a German Shepard swims across a dangerous river. In real life, it was a pool with churning rapids, but TMZ got the video where you see the handler struggling with the dog to get him in the water. "He wants to get away, just throw him in," a voice off-camera says in the video.
PETA has called for a boycott of the movie. The pup was one of five German Shepherds used in the film production.
Actor Josh Gad, who provided the dog's voice, said the movie is "one of the most beautiful love letters to animals I have ever seen," but he found the video disturbing and he has asked the studio for an explanation.
