We all know it, where you sit matters. Cool kids? Not so cool kids? Upper management? Interns? The MTV Video Music Awards seating chart is equally as challenging.
Most celeb guests like Beyonce request their seat mates because ... BEYONCE.
During the show, several people switch seats too, in a effort to get closer to Taylor Swift. No seriously, according to TIME, Taylor is the most requested seat neighbor.
Expect Olympians - Michael Phelps will be seated behind Alicia Keys. Simone Biles will be with the Final Five because they are adorable. No word on if Zach Efron (who started up a Tweet love fest with Simone) will be seated next to Simone but she's on the asile, so can we at least get a tumbling pass?
Kim and Kanye will be in the front row - yawn - but there's one problem. Taylor Swift's name card is missing. Now, that doesn't mean she won't come but fans are anxious to see her and her new man Tom Hiddleston walk the red carpet.
Taylor might skip the whole thing. It depends on who you ask, but US Weekly says Taylor Swift will not be attending the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday and multiple sources confirmed it.
Confirmed performers for the show include Rihanna, Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Future, but rumor has it Beyonce will be on stage too.
This is an example of the "power of the online parent." The price of the EpiPen, known to help those in anaphylaxis shock, dramatically rose over the last few months without explanation to those who need it. Parents rushed to social media demanding the price be lowered but Sarah Jessica Parker did something better.
She is a spokesperson for the EpiPen and has campaigned for anaphylaxis awareness for manufacturer Mylan (her son has a severe peanut allergy), so this week, SHE dropped THEM.
Mylan has since expanded its assistance programs and is offering a savings card for the EpiPen but parents say that's not enough and now want a government investigation.
Mylan CEO Heather Bresch told CNBC, "No one's more frustrated than me." She knows she's the CEO, right? She claims the "broken health-care system" is responsible for the price jump. Oddly enough, it's been reported that Mylan's top executives got raises after the EpiPen price increase.
I'm terrible at singing in the car, but I love Carpool Karaoke! James Corden's feature on the Late Late Show is always entertaining even if you don't like the guest. I think it's because it's two people dorking out and having fun.
The latest star to help James get to work is Britney Spears, and inbetween sing-a-longs she talks about wanting more kids and how she doesn't believe in marriage anymore:
The downside of this episode is that Britney never really lets loose and sings - She constantly looks like she's worried about what people think. The upside is James changes costumes at one point!
You get a miniature replica of Gaga in a raw steak dress; as the slices of meat are removed to be cooked in the sizzling oil of the hot pot, the doll loses more and more of her "clothes." It's a meaty strip tease.
Is Ryan Lochte's career over? Or does he just need a dance?
The swimmer is set to join the celebrity cast for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
ABC wouldn't confirm the report, an "insider" says "Ryan has wanted to be on the show for years." Lochte has insisted he only "over-exaggerated" details of his infamous robbery incident in Rio. The 12-time Olympic medalist was dumped by all of his sponsors.
If you ever saw the episode of Saturday Night Live when Peyton Manning hosted, you know he's got pretty good comic timing. So it isn't a huge surprise that Comedy Central announced that Peyton will be joining the roast of actor Rob Lowe.
Rob is a longtime Indianapolis Colts fan and so of course he knows Peyton.
Hearing my fave, #18 Peyton Manning will not return to #NFL. Wow. #Colts
A Polish discus thrower named Piotr Malachowski decided to auction off the silver medal he just won in Rio to pay for the treatment of a 3-year-old's cancer treatment. This is not his son or a close friend's son - He just did it out of the goodness of his heart.
Malachowski wrote on his Facebook page, "My silver medal today is worth a lot more than a week ago. It is worth the life and health of a small Olek."
The auction was up to $19,000 with 3 days to go when Poland's richest couple stepped in and bought it for $84,000. That money along with some previously raised will pay for the boy to fly to New York and get his surgery.
