At the height of the flood threat - late Saturday night - residents of the Lexington Green sub-division in West Seneca were temporarily evacuated after the waters of the Buffalo River spilled over its banks. Cazenovia Creek in South Buffalo also spilled over its banks.
In Colden, a stretch of Route 240 North of Kissing Bridge was closed to traffic because of flood waters from the west branch of Cazenovia Creek.
The flood waters have receded and all streets and roads are open Monday morning.
