Slushy Drive Home and Record Cold Tonight

One day after we enjoyed a high temp of 76 degrees, we're talking about snow over much of Western New York today.   The snow is expected to arrive sometime during the mid morning, and continue with snow or rain and slush for almost the entire day.

"The ground is pretty warm from the past several days and most of it will melt as it falls, but higher elevations could see an inch or two, says meteorologist Jason Franklin at the Buffalo office of the National Weather Service.

One to three-inches is expected, most of it in the hills.    The drive in and the drive home could be a little messy, and overnight temps will go below the 20 degree record set for this date in 1928.
