Lake Snow Continues Well South Of Buffalo



Lake effect snow will continue into the New Year, for the southern half of Western New York. The lake snow bands are projected to drift from the Southtowns into the Southern Tier tonight.

There is a Lake Effect Snow WARNING for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties, from through 10 a.m. Wednesday. Another 7 to 14 inches are possible in persistent bands.

There also is a Lake Snow WARNING for southern Erie County, until 7 a.m., with an additional 6 to 10 inches in the forecast.

There are Lake Snow ADVISORIES for Wyoming and Allegany Counties, until 8 a.m., for 4 to 8 inches.
