Tom Bauerle's Statement to Listeners

Amherst, N.Y. (WBEN) - WBEN's Tom Bauerle went on the air Monday afternoon after a weekend speculative article that questioned his health and personal affairs.  We've posted the audio of Tom's opening statement here.

Additionally, The Buffalo News had filed a Freedom of Information Request to get police records of Bauerle's non-emergency call to Police released.  In denying the request, Amherst Town Attorney Thomas Jones told The News, "“The records do contain medical and other personal information concerning the subject. It is our opinion that the release of the report would constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy as defined by the Public Officers Law.”
