Buffalo, NY -- East Aurora-based Fisher Price is losing its 15-year relationship with Sesame Street. The company's licensing agreement with the popular children's program expires at the end of next year. Beginning in 2011, rival Hasbro, Inc. will become the exclusive maker and marketer of Sesame Street toys and games.
Time Warner Cable and Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. have agreed to a one-year extension of their retransmission-consent agreement. The contract was set to expire on December 31. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
