Road from Depew to Lancaster at a cost of $648,000. Amherst Paving has been contracted to do the work.
For the fourth time in the past 2-1/2 years, the City of Buffalo’s bond rating has increased. Standard & Poor’s upgraded the rating from a triple “B+” to an “A-”.
Business First reports Benderson Development is re-acquiring eleven shopping centers it built and then sold to Developers Diversified Realty Corporation in 2004. Benderson has closed on the Sheridan-Delaware and Sheridan-Harlem Plazas for a reported $12.5 million.
A former B-Kwik store has been converted into a Tops Market on Seneca Street in South Buffalo. A store has operated at that site since 1968.
South Buffalo native Patrick Kane will be unveiled as the face of the NHL’s 2010 video game this fall. The EA Sports video will be available September 15th. For the curious, there is apparently no cover jinx associated with the hockey video game. Past cover subjects have included Vincent Lecavalier and Alex Ovechkin.
