Police: 2 injured in separate shootings over the weekend

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Buffalo are investigating separate shootings over the weekend that left two people with gunshot wounds.

Officials say the first shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. Saturday. Police say a 20-year-old man was shot. Authorities say about 45 minutes later, a 37-year-old man was shot in the leg multiple times.

Both men were treated at Erie County Medical Center.

Police continue to investigate.
