Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Buffalo Bill was involved in an unusual incident Wednesday in Elma.

Erie County Sheriff's spokesman Scott Zylka says deputies responded to a call of a man along Rice Road. Zylka says Cyrus Kouandjio was discovered in that field. "The individual was polite, compliant with the deputies at the scene," says Zylka, who says it was Cyrus Kouandjio. Zylka refutes a Buffalo News report Kouandjio yelled "Shoot me" to deputies.

"They did find him half-clothed from the waist down and it ended up being a first aid call," explains Zylka. He was not arrested but taken to ECMC for observation.

The Bills organization issued a statement saying it's aware of the matter and is gathering more information and since it doesn't have all of the details it won't  have any further comment.
