Tyrod Taylor to Start for Bills Sunday

McDermott Switches Back After Rough Performance by Peterman

Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) - Tyrod Taylor will be back under center for the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.

Head Coach Sean McDermott made the announcement during his Wednesday news conference, simply saying that it was the right decision for the team.

Last week, Taylor was benched in favor of rookie Nathan Peterman, who threw five first-half interceptions on the way to a 54-24 blowout loss in Los Angeles.

"At some point, rookies have to play," McDermott said about Peterman's start last Sunday. "We have a number of young folks playing. One of the tops in the league, in fact. That's how you get better, is you play young players, you develop, they get experience, they learn from things, then they get better."

McDermott said Peterman took the news "as a pro."

The Bills travel to Kansas City to play the 6-4 Chiefs this Sunday.
