The AAA's current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the region slid a half-penny - but by rounding up - it still costs $2.64 here.  Last week's price was $2.641.  This week, the same gallon costs $2.636.

Riverside Federal Credit Union has acquired a formerly vacant First Niagara Bank office at 2853 Delaware Ave. in Kenmore.   Business First reports the purchase price was $665,000.  RFCU plans to open its new branch in the spring of 2019.

As part of the $69 million awarded by the Regional Economic Development Council to aid 112 projects in Western New York, Roswell Park Cancer Institute will use its $1 million state grant to expand its immunotherapy programs.  Roswell will renovate existing research facilities to create a new Division of Integrative Immuno-Oncology.

Regan Development of Westchester County, and Buffalo-based architecture firm of Hamilton Houston Lownie are continuing to collaborate on renovation deals.  Business First notes the latest project would convert a warehouse at 19 Doat Street into a residential-based project, anchored by 74 apartments.  That project comes before the Buffalo Planning Board this afternoon.  The two firms are also involved in a renovation of the former Buffalo Milk Co. Dairy building on Niagara Street and previously turned the Packard Building on Main street in an apartment complex.
