Marrano Homes says construction is officially underway for its $14 million townhome project in Williamsville.  The West Seneca homebuilder received final attorney general approval last week to begin the marketing and sales of 40 new luxury townhomes in Marrano’s exclusive Windstone community, located between Sheridan Drive and Main Street.  The residences are expected to be move-in ready by the spring of 2018.

Bayview Loan Servicing LLC has obtained approval from the New York State Supreme Court to hold a foreclosure auction for 957-959 Broadway.  Business First reports the building has street level retail and houses 35 apartments.  The court-ordered auction is set for March 23rd.

This past week, Crosby’s celebrated the grand re-opening of two stores.  They're located at 5267 Clinton Street Road in Batavia and 64 South Main Street in Elba.

KFC and other fast-food restaurants are trying to lure sweethearts for Valentine's Day.  It's an attempt to capture a bit of the $3.7 billion that the National Retail Federation expects Americans to spend on a night out for the holiday.  One restaurant analyst says it appeals to people who don't want to splurge on a pricier restaurant...and some customers enjoy it ironically.
