Wall Street ratings agency Standard and Poor’s has affirmed the county’s A-1 credit rating for short term obligations.  This allows the county to continue to borrow at an extremely low interest rate, which saves money.

Picone Construction continues rebranding work at five additional locations of Crunch Fitness in Western New York.  Each location will undergo work which includes: select demolition, carpentry, drywall and acoustic, vinyl composition tile, carpet, and painting - as Picone transforms former World Gym sites.

Unyts and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai have announced an agreement.  Under the terms, Unyts will help to raise awareness about the need for brain tissue and encourage post-mortem brain donation, particularly to understand autism spectrum disorders. 

Canisius College climbed to the 22nd spot in the top tier of U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 rankings for America’s Best Colleges - under the category Regional Universities - North.
