Sabres Win in Battle for the Bottom

GLENDALE, Ariz. (WBEN/AP) -- Andrej Meszaros scored two goals for the second straight game, and the Buffalo Sabres ended a five-game losing streak by beating the Arizona Coyotes 4-1 Monday night in a matchup between the NHL's worst two teams.  The Sabres are now just four points behind Arizona and in last place in the NHL.

Another Rallying Cry for Public Education

Clarence, N.Y. (WBEN) - Another rally for public education was held Monday evening, this time in front of Clarence High School.  More than a hundred students, teachers and parents attended the rally, the latest in a series of similar events held in districts across Western New York in the past several weeks.
