United Airlines and the International Association of Machinists have worked out agreements on several fronts. One of those is that United Airlines employees will do ground handling work at five airports - including Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

Summit Educational Resources will open an office at 4535 Southwestern Boulevard in Hamburg on July 9th.

Tactus Technologies of Getzville has received federal funding for use toward a very specialized iPad app - development of a 3-D program called Mobile Cadaver Lab. Business First reports the app is for use by students to remove components and learn about human anatomy.

The National Private Truck Council recently handed out its Humanitarian Award to Kevin Weaver. Weaver has recorded 300,000 accident-free miles since October of 2006. He drives a truck for the Upstate Niagara Cooperative.

Tracy's Retreat and Day Spa has become the first in Western New York to represent Rodan and Fields Dermatologist products.
