New Owner for Central Park Plaza

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Long considered an eyesore, the Central Park Plaza has a new owner this holiday weekend.

Mayor Brown announcing Strickler Development Group has bought the plaza for $800,000. Strickler is an LLC owned by LP Ciminelli.

Brown says the plaza site has been neglected for a long time.

LP Ciminelli's Louis Ciminelli says short term plans are to environmentally remediate and secure the site, then consider options for the best use of the site.
