Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A former Buffalo Common Council member, Brian Davis,  accepted a plea deal that could see him face up to ten years behind bars and a $250,000 fine.  Davis admitted to taking from a federally funder organization while in office.

The former lawmaker admitted to stealing $48,000 from various organizations while in office and he'll be sentenced September 5th.   A lesser sentence may be worked out if Davis cooperates in a separate ongoing investigation.
