TRAFFIC ALERT: Corporate Challenge Today

The 34th annual JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is set for 6:45 in Delaware Park kicking off a road race with a massive corporate mixer likely to  tie up traffic around the Zoo, Delaware Park and the entire Parkside neighborhood.

 How to avoid Parking Woes

No parking is permitted on the grass areas in and around Delaware Park.  Walk in. Access for loading and unloading is extremely limited.  

Shuttle Bus use is strongly encouraged.
No parking is permitted at Medaille College.

Illegally parked cars will be ticketed and towed

J.P. Morgan, in support of the Corporate Challenge in Buffalo, will make a donation to National Academy Foundation

<<< Race Course:  At 6:45, the race runs from Delaware Park to Amherst St., Delaware Ave., Gates Circle, and back up Delaware To Middlesex Rd

Parking and Shuttle Service:  Race organizers strongly recommend that all entrants use the off-site parking and free shuttle service.

Parking at the race site is extremely limited. In addition, roads will remain closed during the race, making it difficult to exit the area.
 Parking is available at Buffalo State College, Lots M and L. (See above)

Free shuttle bus service will run between the race site and Lot L on the following schedule:

--Pre-race: 4:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. (Priority goes to entrants.)
  • -- Post-race: 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Following the German airline crash and all that's been reported about it, how are you feeling about flying?
  I'm more nervous but will still be flying.
  It was an isolated incident and won't stop me from flying.
  Very frightening and I won't fly anytime soon.
