Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The Allentown Art Festival opens today for the 55th time. Over 400 artists will be showing and selling their creations along Delaware Avenue for the next two days and thousands are expected to crowd the area to shop and people watch in what is an annual rite of summer in Western New York. The festival is usually greeted by outstanding weather but this year festival attendees may have to dodge a raindrop or two as the forecast is calling for some spotty showers and thunderstorms throughout the day Saturday.
