The AAA reports that local unleaded gas prices average $3.82 per gallon today. That's seventeen cents less than the price one month ago. However, the local average is currently twenty-eight cents higher than the national average. That gulf is generally closer to twelve cents.
A real estate investment group from Rochester bought the property at 95 John Muir Drive in Amherst for $3.1 million. Business First reports the building had been in foreclosure. Its sale was handled by Pyramid Brokerage Company.
Bank of America has deeded over property it owned on Delaware Avenue to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site Foundation. The Foundation will raze the bank and restore the site to what it looked like in 1901 when Roosevelt took the oath of office upon the death of President McKinley on September 14th of that year.
