Traffic was backed up in both directions of the I-190 Monday  for 90 minutes in the late morning and early afternoon, after a truck struck a guardrail and dragged it into the opposing lane of traffic. It's believed the one of the tires of the truck blew out, causing the accident.

 At the height of the accident all southbound lanes were blocked at the Whitehaven Road exit, and several of the left lanes were closed on the northbound side. Traffic was backed up for several miles. The scene was cleared at about 1pm.
