Bills QB Young Sues Former Agent, Adviser

Houston, TX (WBEN / Houston Chronicle) -- Buffalo Bills quarterback Vince Young is suing his former agent and former financial adviser, accusing them of misappropriating millions of dollars.

In a civil lawsuit filed in Young's native Texas, Major Adams II and Ronnie T. Peoples are accused of being responsible for the loss of about $5.5 million, from the $54 million Young received from his years with the Tennessee Titans.

In addition, Young's lawyer Troy Dolezal tells the Houston Chronicle some transactions are "untraceable," and that he believes Adams and Peoples also are responsible for forgeries that could have diverted even more money."

"There has been at least some evidence that there has been some fraud and some forgeries using [Young's] name over the last several years that we believe that Major Adams and Ron Peoples are responsible for," Dolezal told the newspaper. "We have no idea how much money is missing."

Adams and Peoples were Young's agent and financial adviser, respectively, during his tenure with the Titans, from 2006 to 2010. Young retained Tom Condon to manage his affairs in 2010.

After one season with the Philadelphia Eagles, Young signed a free agent deal with the Bills last month.
