Buffalo, NY (WBEN) By a 7-2 vote, Dr. Pamela Brown has been voted to new superintendent of Buffalo Public Schools.

Brown is currently working in Massachusetts, and has previoulsy worked in Philadelphia and Charlotte.

Board President Lou Petrucci was one of the two no votes.

Brown takes over for Dr. James Williams, who retired last year. Amber Brown served as interim superintendent.
