Buffalo Deputy Police Commissioner Charles Tomaszewski said Jorden was found in a densely wooded area by New York State Paroile Officers. who had been assisting in the search.
There had been a nationwide manhunt for Jorden, sought for questioning in the Wednesday shooting inside the Miller Building at ECMC.
Jorden's body was found Friday morning in the woods along 18 Mile Creek. It appears he died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The shooting led to a lockdown at the hospital Wednesday.
