Girl Rescued from Pool



Alden, NY (WBEN) Erie County Sheriff's deputies say a six year old girl is recovering after losing consciousness in her family's swimming pool in Alden.

Deputies responded to Sandridge Road after getting word the girl was underwater for some time and was pulled out of the water.

The girl's mother was trained in CPR and manage to save her daughter with a dozen rescue breaths.

The girl regained consciousness and was taken to Women and Children's Hospital for precautionary reasons.
