Falls Cops Search for Suspect in Fatal Hit and Run



Niagara Falls, NY (WBEN/AP) Niagara Falls Police confirm the mother struck in Monday night's accident -- in which the driver sped off -- has died from her injuries at ECMC.  

Police continue searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck the woman and her 6-year-old son as they crossed a street.

The boy is listed in good condition.

Police say they're looking for an older-model, maroon-colored vehicle with front-end damage and possibly a broken window.

They say the woman and the boy were crossing a street shortly after 10 p.m. Monday when they were struck by a vehicle whose driver didn't stop.
