Buffalo (WBEN) -- Buffalo homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of a body near an old railroad bed in North Buffalo on Friday night.
A passerby found the body near Colvin Avenue and Taunton Place at around 7-45 Friday night, in a wooded area near the railroad tracks that run behind Taunton. An autopsy found the man was stabbed to death.
Buffalo police are asking for the public's assistance in helping to identify the victim. He is described as a black male, 6-feet, 160 pounds, believed to be in his early 20's.
